The core activities of OM&T B.V. (Optical Media &
Technology) are development of leading edge optical
based discs from mastering and stampers through disc
manufacture and related testing solutions for PC/AV
drive manufacturers. OM&T is instrumental in the
development of new optical media solutions and
technologies, creating new markets via global
standardization. The organization is comprised of
the 4 main building blocks:
- Stamper production to serve disc replicators
worldwide with specialized and high quality master
and stampers.
- Test Discs production to enable hardware
manufacturers of end products or key products to
perform tests using high precision test discs.
Such discs feature highly controlled physical
parameters such as defects (scratches, finger
prints, black dots etc.).
- Blu-ray media mass production as well as other
formats
- Photo-voltaic leading edge research and
development
