The PV R&D program is targeting a significant
reduction of the cost per watt ($/Wp) of solar power
by either enhancing the efficiency of solar modules
or by reducing their manufacturing costs. Focal
points are the development of advanced
light-trapping concepts for thin-film solar cells
and the evaluation of new concepts in the field of
CIGS, OPV and heterojunction solar cells. The
developed technologies will be transferred to the
Moser Baer Solar production facilities situated in
India.
